What is the SVMCM (Swami Vivekananda Scholarship) Scholarship?
West Bengal government has launched this SVMCM (Swami Vivekananda Scholarship) for those students studying from higher secondary to graduation who cannot get an education due to lack of money or are facing difficulties.
Who will get the benefits of SVMCM (Swami Vivekananda Scholarship)? (Eligibility Criteria)
- All the students studying in West Bengal from higher secondary to graduation level will get this scholarship. There are several things to keep in mind for this.
- Students must be permanent residents of West Bengal.
- Should be studying in any higher education council aided institution (school college university).
- To apply for this scholarship the student must get 60 percent marks or 60%.
- Annual household income should be less than 250000.

Application Process (SVMCM Registration Process)
Follow the steps below to apply for SVMCM
Step 1
Online Registration
First the student has to fill up the online registration form. A 15 digit application I’d will be available after successfully submitting the registration form. And using this svmcm applicant login the rest of the process will be completed. The Registration Slip should be downloaded or written down. Application ID will be sent through email.
Those who want to apply for K3 need to verify their Kanyashree ID. There Kanyashree (K2) Year of Application, Kanyashree ID, Applicant Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name will be asked. If the registration of the application is successful, it will be sent to the main registration form. Rest of the procedure is same for all.
Step 2
Online Application
You have to login with the previous application I’d, password and captcha. After login the rest of the form has to be filled. Then upload passport size photo and scanned copy of signature.
Step 3
Upload Documents
After successfully submitting the SVMCM Application form, the Scanned Supporting Document Upload form will appear. All the necessary documents that will be asked there are to be uploaded. What is needed is mentioned above.
Step 4
Submission
Once everything is uploaded, check the application in view mode. Then click on submit application and the application process will be completed.
