NEET 2024 Cutoff: Finally, NEET 2024 is over. Many of the students found the Physics & Chemistry questions lengthy and many students found easy. Many of the students suffered in time management. We are going to discuss about the expected cutoff of NEET 2024 exam for a Government Medical College.
Factors of NEET 2024 Cutoff
Basically, the cutoff of NEET 2024 depends on 3 major things – No. of students, Paper Difficulty and No. Of Seats. This year in NEET 2024, more than 25 Lakhs students applied which is 20% more than NEET Previous year. In NEET 2023 20 Lakhs students applied, So 4.2 Lakhs more students applied this year. If we go in the past we can find, students can have a decent rank which is arround 4000 with just 520 marks in 2016, 590 in 2017, 572 in 2018, 620 in 2019, 650 in 2022 and 660 in 2023. No what about NEET 2024?
Expected Cutoff for NEET 2024
Now, as we saw before, marks are increasing day by day but there is good news for you the seats of the medical colleges also increased in the past few years. So if any student gets around 600 marks (+15/-15) we can consider, he/ she is getting a GMC (Government Medical College).
Now, those who are getting 625+ they dont have to worry about anything. They are getting Government Medical College for sure. For those who is getting 600-625, we can hope they will also get a GMC. If they dont even get in the first round, they can get in the second round or with the state quota.
The students who are scoring less than 600 marks, we divide them in 2 categories. Some of them are getting 500-600 marks and some of them are getting less than 500. For the 1st category who are getting 500 – 600, we suggest them to study more. If you hopefully get a medical college then you can stop study for NEET 2025, and those who are getting less than 500, they are suggested to analyze their mistakes they did during their NEET 2024 preparation and prepare for 2025 without making those mistakes.
