GATE 2025 : Will you give the gate exam next year? 2025 Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering i.e. GATE exam registration process is going to start soon. Meanwhile Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has launched Gate 2025 portal at gate2025.iitr.ac.in According to the information on that website, the registration for the GATE exam is going to start from August 24.
According to the official website, the candidates can submit the application form till September 26.
GATE 2025 : How to Register
By following the steps mentioned in below candidates can register for GATE 2025 :-

- STEP 2:- On the Homepage one can find ” GATE 2025 REGISTRATION ” Link
- STEP 3:- A new page will appear at your screen
- STEP 4:- Fill up the application with required information
- STEP 5:-Pay the registration fees
- STEP 6:- Submit the application and get a printout for future reference .
GATE 2025 : Data Required
- Personal details include the candidate’s name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents’ names, and their mobile numbers.
- The candidate’s name must be matched with what is provided in both the application form and the valid photo identification. The GATE 2025 scorecard will reflect the name as entered in the application.
- Do not include any prefixes or titles such as Mr, Mrs, Shri, Smt, Dr, Prof, Capt, Maj, Lt, Col, Er, Ar, etc.
- Provide the communication address, including the PIN code.
- Include details of the eligibility degree.
- Specify the GATE papers along with their corresponding codes in which the candidate intends to participate.
- Any three cities of choice for GATE examination centre near candidate.
- Details of Candidate’s Net-banking /debit card / credit card / UPI for the fee payment.
GATE 2025 : Required Documents
- A high-quality color image of the candidate in passport size is required. The image should have a plain white background, free from any objects or other individuals. It must be saved in JPG/JPEG format and should clearly display the front view of the face, including the eyes, nose, lips, and forehead. The file size should not exceed 1 MB.
- A clear image of the candidate’s signature is needed, only black or blue ink must be used. This signature image should exceed1 MB.
- A copy of the category certificate (SC, ST) in PDF format (if applicable).
- A scanned copy of the PwD certificate in PDF format (if applicable).
- A scanned copy of the dyslexia certificate in PDF format (if applicable).
- A scanned copy of a valid photo identification document is also required. Acceptable forms of ID include Aadhaar UID (preferred), passport, PAN card, voter ID, or driving license.
- The photo ID must clearly display the candidate’s name, date of birth, and unique identification number. It is essential to bring this photo ID to the examination hall for verification purposes.
Candidates must make sure that the uploaded documents should be neat and clean.
GATE 2025 : Eligibility Criteria
GATE 2025 is conducted by IIT Roorkee, officially announced the eligibility criteria for candidates intending to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Generally, the eligibility requirements is same as previous years . The eligibility criteria for GATE 2025 candidates is mentioned bellow :-
Educational Qualifications : Candidates must have either completed or be in their final or third year of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, architecture, science, or humanities from a recognized institution or university.
Nationality Requirements : Eligibility is open to all Indian citizens. Furthermore, candidates from other countries who meet the GATE 2025 eligibility criteria are also welcome to apply.
Age Limit : There are no specific age restrictions for applicants, allowing individuals from various age groups to participate in the GATE 2025 examination.

GATE 2025 : Exam Date
The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has officially released the exam dates for GATE 2025 on its website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. According to the announcement, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
