Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID: The ABC APAAR/ABC ID is a unique 12-digit code to store, manage, and access all academic credits digitally. This includes degrees, diplomas, certificates, training details, and co-curricular accomplishments. The registration is mandatory for every student in India.

APAAR ID: Create ABC ID on the DigiLocker App

To create an ABC ID easily in less time, DigiLocker helps you. Follow the below steps to create an ABC ID on DigiLocker App.

1. First install the DigiLocker App from Play Store/ App Store.
2. Open it and login/ Signup using your login credentials.
3. Search for APAAR/ABC ID, Click on it.
4. Fill the required details ( Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Institution Details etc.) and Submit.
5. After submission, your information will be fetching for a while and then your APAAR/ABC ID will be generated.

APAAR ID: Create APAAR ID on the APAAR ID Portal

1. Go to official website www.abc.gov.in/
2. Click on My Account tab on right hand of the web-page.
3. The Click on My Account tab on right hand of the web-page.
4. Select Student from the drop-down list and
5. If you have account on the DigiLocker Sign-in using your details and OTP.
6. If you do NOT have account on the DigiLocker Click on Sign-up for Meri Pehchaan (www.digilocker.meripehchaan.gov.in).
7. Create an account using your Mobile Number linked with your Aadhaar.
8. Sign-in using your details and OTP.
9. After sign-in, select the University.
10. complete the Registration Process on ABC.
11. Please note down and keep your ABC ID for future references.

APAAR ID: Importance Of APAAR ID

• It gives students the freedom in choosing their courses and academics.
• Allow students to drop out in any year and then exchange the credits earned so far with a certificate/diploma if they are eligible.
• Students can redeem their credits and rejoin the same or any other institute.
